Air Guitar World Championships

Since 1996, the Air Guitar World Championships have become a favourite with international audiences and the media, spreading their message around the world. The Year of the Air Guitar will culminate in Oulu, Finland, when national champions and black horses will compete for the world championship, spreading the message of peace.

The world championship will be decided in a free and age-limited final spectacle. The Black Horse qualifier the night before will offer a quick trip to the World Championship Final. In addition, the festival will offer air guitar-themed local tourism for international race tourists.
